China is in great shape, even in purely statistical terms: for the past 25
years, the Chinese economy has been growing by nine percent annually.
The Middle Kingdom is today the sixth largest economy in the world and
will become the largest by 2030. At the same time, the disposable income
of its billion-strong population is growing at double-digit rates. Hardly
surprising, then, that every week over a billion US dollars are invested
in the country.
